Adding The Finishing Touches*

What I've been doing the last couple of days is pull out my stash of projects that I started and then I would get distracted forgetting about the initial project I started.

Even now as I'm doing this entry, I'm thinking of what creation I going to start on. By that I mean what project will I be adding the finishing touches to so I can get it listed in my shop.

I always try to make a few items for the special days of the year which I have no problem with stock if I would just finish what I start and stop getting distracted.

I had made a bunny head out of copper wire almost two Easter's ago and have just finished it to my satisfaction.

Can you believe that?   I just need to take pictures and upload them to the shop. Yeah! I'm staying on track for once.  It turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself.

Once I get it uploaded to the shop, I'll come back and add a link here too.

I still don't have any one following my blog, and I don't know what happened to pictures I had uploaded to this blog.

I do find it hard trying to keep up with my shop, blog and a website that I'm still trying to get started, but I'm not a quitter so I'll just keep on trucking.

I'd love to hear from someone to find out what you are up to and if you are an artisan of some kind.  I'd love to see what you make.  So please do drop a link.

Until next time be well and successful.

New Year New Ideas

Well here I am sitting at my computer and finally posting to my blog. Gee I still have too many things on my plate that I can't keep up with them all. :)

I have been working on my shop as much as I can, but due to some health issues I get set behind and then try to catch up.

I have made a few sales here and there but not near to where I would like.

If I had a car I would go set up at some flea markets because I think that would be fun. You know meeting a large variety of different people in one day.

What I will do this summer is travel around the city and try to get some of my creations into a few stores, maybe on consignment or some kind of deal.

If there is anyone out there that already does something like that I would love to hear from you to learn a few tricks of the trade.

I hope all is going well with you and your creating. I would love to see what you are making, so if you get a chance please drop a line and even better drop a picture.

Well, until next time...be well and successful.

I'm Way Behind How Bout You?

Oh boy, I'm still putting way too many things on my plate as usual.

I've just collected a bunch of awesome 100% wool sweater pieces and have
decided to get back to working on my shop and make some awesome things
like scarfs, pillows, and even a few small felt pals.

What I could really use is more space!

It's getting really cramped in my work area that I'm starting to rip at the seams.
(Pardon the pun)

Tell me... how to You Stay On Track?  What's the secret to Staying Focused?

S O R R Y....

Yes that is the title of my blog post today, because if you look at when I posted last then you might understand why I'm saying sorry.

I am so upset with myself because I have worked hard for a couple of years to set up a blog and a shop online where I post things that I make.

The biggest problem with that is, because I am also trying to set up a website for something different altogether I have taken way too much on at one time and can't spend enough time on one thing to try and be successful .

It's very self explainitory the comment of...."Jack of all trades, Master of none".

Shit..(sorry about that) ..I still can't stay focused on one thing and follow it through.  What the heck is the matter with me????   I truely get distracted by "shiny things" because I want to learn and understand Everything!!

RIGHT NOW, Here, I am going to Change all of this! I am going make a list of daily things to do, then include posting to my blog at least TWICE a week!

The reason I am so upset is because I had a visitor who was nice enough to join as my First subscriber and leave a commet. BUT it took me over 3 weeks to respond because I was too busy opening and reading the hundreds of emails that I get instead of paying attention to the more important things that I have going on.
(and then I wonder why no one joins my blog).

I just wanted to publicly appologize to Sandra for my rudeness and hope you will come back to visit and share your interests with me.

Take a moment and check out her awesome site Here.

Happy Thanksgiving  Everyone.

Love Flowers

As anyone who knows me or has the chance to see my creations, I do love flowers. :)

I was checking out some nice banners for my iGoogle, and just had to put up a banner for this awesome abstract artist =>> CARMEN GUEDEZ

If you appreciate pretty flowers and fine abstract, please feast your eyes. ===>>>

Sewing Contests **

I've missed a couple of sewing contests that were giving away awesome sewing machines for First place prizes.

That would be pretty cool to win a new machine, or at least try. :)

Has anyone actually entered a sewing contest? and perhaps won something?

I would love to see your winning creation, so if you drop by, how about posting to this comment and posting your entry and prize.

If you know of any contests happening I would appreciate the link.

Have fun creating.

Starting To List NEW Creations.

I have about 7 completed projects that are waiting to be listed in my shop, but just don't get enough time to do it.

There are a couple of items that I listed

I want to do it so bad because I know someone out there is going to love the bags I made from a long plaid skirt.

They turned out so much better than I expected. :)

I would Love to see what You have been making and invite You to join my Blog so that we can follow each other.

Did You get a chance to join the contest with "Singer" ?  I know it closed at the end of June but was wondering if anyone knows who won the beautiful sewing machine for first prize.?

It's so late right now and I promised myself that I would go to be earlier than last night. If I do so, then I will be better rested for tomorrow.

Goodnight.

Talk Soon.
